The protection of special-shaped molds in hot runner molds, the maintenance of gates, the inspection of guide parts, and the adjustment of mold distance, etc.
1. Maintenance of special-shaped molds
When disassembling the special-shaped mold, you should pay attention to the original condition of the mold, so that it can be easily restored during subsequent mold installation. If there is padding or displacement, the thickness of the gasket should be engraved on the part and recorded. Whether the new parts need to be stolen, whether there is enough material to be stolen, and whether the mold needs to be locked tightly. Pay attention to the locking confirmation of the stripper plate screw. When locking, it should be locked from the inside to the outside, and the balance force should be cross-locked. Do not lock one screw first and then another screw, so as not to cause the stripper plate to tilt and cause the special-shaped mold to break or break. The precision of the mold is reduced.
2. Gate maintenance
There are many reasons for this low temperature, for example, due to the mismatch of the size of the hot nozzle, the density distribution of the heating ring, etc., and because of the operation and installation problems, the material temperature may be too low. Then it can be solved like this: reduce the cooling speed, choose a more suitable hot nozzle model, and check whether the volume of the thermal insulation cavity is large enough. In addition, the contact area between the hot nozzle and the mold can be reduced, and some thermal insulation measures can be provided for the hot nozzle. Shorten the length of the hot nozzle and increase the power of the heating ring.
3. Inspection of guide parts
Check the matching clearance of the guide post and guide sleeve, whether there are burns or wear marks, and whether the oil supply state of the mold guide is normal. The wear of the guide parts and the destruction of the accuracy will reduce the accuracy of the mold, and there will be problems in various parts of the mold, so it must be properly maintained and replaced regularly. Check the accuracy of the material guide. If the guide pin is worn, it has lost its proper guide accuracy and function, and must be replaced. Check the condition of the spring (unloading spring and top spring, etc.) to see if it is broken, or it has not broken after long-term use, but has lost its original strength due to fatigue, and must be regularly maintained and replaced, otherwise it will cause damage to the mold or production is not smooth.
4. Adjust the distance of the mold
The mold core positioning hole is worn due to frequent and multiple combinations of the mold core, resulting in a large distance after assembly (looseness after assembly) or uneven distance (positioning deviation), which will cause the section shape to deteriorate after punching. , make appropriate distance adjustment. When the distance is small, there are fewer sections. When the distance is large, there are many sections and large burrs. A reasonable distance can be obtained by shifting. After adjustment, it should be properly recorded. In addition, whether auxiliary systems such as ejector pins are worn or not. Whether the material can be ejected, whether the guide pin and the bushing are worn, should pay attention to inspection and maintenance.
